Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is hiring Weekend Caregivers to provide quality in-home care for seniors and adults with varying needs. You'll assist with personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship in clients' homes.

This weekend role offers flexibility, a supportive team, ongoing training, and opportunities to build caregiving skills while making a meaningful difference in the community.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
• Complete light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization
• Offer medication reminders according to the care plan
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning using transfer equipment
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, or activities
• Observe changes in clients' condition and communicate concerns to the care team
• Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment

Location: Milwaukee, WI and surrounding areas

Schedule: Weekend Shifts Available (Saturday & Sunday)

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or personal care is preferred but not required


• Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle required


• Ability to provide care for clients with a wide range of physical and personal care needs


• Comfortable working in homes with cats, dogs, and other household pets


• Comfortable caring for clients who smoke


• Experience with Hoyer lifts and other mobility equipment is a plus


• Dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing exceptional client care


• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
