Job summary

Weatherly Inn in Tacoma, WA is seeking compassionate, reliable caregivers to support residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will assist with daily living activities, follow care plans, and maintain a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma required.
• 1+ year of caregiving experience; dementia experience preferred.
• Active CNA or HCA license required.
• CPR + First Aid, Fundamentals of Caregiving, Dementia & Mental Health Training, Food Handlers certifications.
• Gentle, caring, teachable, and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with grooming, dressing, toileting, bathing, and mobility.
• Follow resident care plans and document observations accurately.
• Support residents in meals, dining, and recreational activities.
• Ensure infection control procedures and safe body mechanics.
• Assist in emergencies and provide back-up to other caregivers.
• Maintain a clean work environment and report hazards or injuries.
• Observe residents’ physical and emotional condition and report changes.
• Report suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation per protocol.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
