Oakleigh of Macomb Senior Living Community is looking to hire Caregivers who can show compassion for residents, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.

Now hiring for all shifts - weekends only!

Responsibilities

• Assisting with care needs, including dressing, grooming, bathing, incontinence care, etc.
• Administer medications and injections based on medical charts, following documentation procedures.
• Maintaining a clean environment, including light housekeeping.
• Assessing for changes in condition and communicating immediately to supervisor.
• Using good judgment to ensure client safety and care.
• Communicating professionally with families, support services, and coworkers.
• Following safety and health standards, including infection control.
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with the elderly.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Availability every other weekend.
• Positive attitude and punctuality.
