Job summary

The Chateau of Long Beach in Long Beach, CA is seeking compassionate Caregivers and Medication Technicians for PM and NOC shifts. The role offers full-time opportunities with a $17–$19 hourly wage and a $500 sign-on bonus (conditions apply).

Experience is not required; training is provided. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living, documenting care, scheduling appointments, and communicating with medical staff to promote comfort and independence.

Qualifications

• DOJ FBI live scan background clearance required
• Pre-employment physical and TB test clearance
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in caregiving and medical administration preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily ADLs and activities of daily living
• Provide ethical and respectful care to residents
• Progressive documentation and communication with physicians
• Schedule resident doctor's appointments
• Promote engagement and independence while reducing pain
• Maintain safety and composure during emergencies
• Communicate clearly with residents, families and Wellness Coordinator
• Complete daily paperwork and medication records
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Administration
