Job summary

GenCare Lifestyle @ Pt. Ruston in Tacoma, WA is seeking compassionate caregivers / med techs to join our premier Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care community.

You will support residents with daily activities and medication management in a warm, caring environment. We offer full-time and part-time roles with comprehensive benefits, competitive pay, paid time off, and opportunities for CEUs and license reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be NAC or HCA certified and maintain compliance requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification are required or in process.
• Knowledge of infection control, bloodborne pathogens, and HIV/AIDS training.
• Food handler permit or equivalent food-safety certification.
• Experience with caregiving, dementia care, and mental health awareness.
• Possess nurse delegation and diabetes-related certificates if applicable.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow medication instructions and plans.

• Previous caregiving/ Med Tech Assisted Living, or Memory Care experience preferred
• Must be able to read, understand, and accurately follow medication instructions and resident care plans.
