Job summary

Merrill Gardens in Newmarket, NH is seeking a Senior Living Caregiver (LNA/MNA) for a 6am-2pm shift, Monday through Friday. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, monitor medication per state rules, and document progress.

This role offers full- and part-time schedules with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and paid time off. We value dignity and individualized care in a family-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
