Job summary

Merrill Gardens Brentwood is seeking a Senior Living Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities, medication management, and progress reporting. The role emphasizes compassionate care in a warm senior living community.

Eligible candidates include those with CNA certification or equivalent caregiving experience, and ability to obtain first aid/CPR within 30 days. We offer full- and part-time opportunities with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.

Our Caregivers:

If you are someone with:

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.

Actual pay rate within stated pay range is determined based on relevant factors in compliance with state and local wage laws. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
