Job summary

RCS Empowers in Sheboygan, WI is seeking a full-time Day Services Instructor / Caregiver to provide direct care and engaging activities for individuals with disabilities. You will support daily living, promote independence, and help participants participate in community activities.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and a valid driver’s license, with a genuine desire to help others. We offer a supportive team and opportunities to grow within the organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities or behavioral needs (preferred; we will train the right person).
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to provide hands-on personal care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care, supervision, and support to individuals throughout the day.
• Lead activities that promote growth, independence, and community integration.
• Help implement individual goals and plans with Case Managers.
• Support with personal care needs (toileting, feeding, mobility, hygiene).
• Assist with transportation duties, including bus attendance and transfers.
• Ensure a safe, positive, and engaging environment.
• Document progress and maintain accurate records using agency systems.
• Be part of a team that truly supports each other and the people we serve.

What You’ll Do
