Job summary

Home Instead in Columbus and surrounding areas is hiring a caring Caregiver to provide companionship, personal care, and light housework. You will help clients maintain independence and quality of life while building meaningful relationships.

Pay is $15.50–$16.00 per hour with weekly pay and benefits eligibility. The role requires reliable attendance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work with the same client(s) on at least two shifts per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months paid professional caregiving experience or hold a CNA/HHA/LVN/LPN/RN certification.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Able to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client.
• Basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities; bilingual encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and compassionate caregiving to clients.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide personal care such as grooming, bathing, and continence support.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family) OR be a CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, or RN
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Willing and able to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s) to provide consistent care and build strong relationships
• Have basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities (Bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply)
