Job summary

Sevita is hiring a caregiver in Kenner, LA to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community-based settings. You will assist with personal care, daily living activities, and help participants achieve personal goals in a compassionate, patient manner.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 6 months of direct care experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license.

Pay : $11.75-12.25

Shift: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday 2PM -10PM

What You'll Bring To Sevita

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 6 months of experience in patient direct care, or care coordination required. Group home care experience preferred
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management

• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license for at least a year and reliable transportation. Must be able to pass state background check, during pre-employment stage.
