Job summary

Sevita REM Community Services in Minnesota is hiring a full-time caregiver to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll assist with personal care, help participants engage in daily activities, and work to help them live well and stay connected to their community.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.
• Strong communication, compassion and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants to achieve developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Help participants participate in community activities and outings.
• Build real relationships and provide patient, respectful care.
