Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, is seeking a caregiver to support individuals with developmental needs in a community-based setting. The role emphasizes compassionate, person-centered care and helping participants live well while building meaningful relationships.

You’ll assist with daily living activities, support goal achievement, and participate in a supportive team that values reliability, initiative, and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patient, compassionate, and reliable demeanor
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily living tasks
• Support participants in pursuing developmental goals and community involvement
• Develop meaningful relationships with participants and provide person-centered care
• Collaborate with supervisors and care teams to ensure quality support
