Job summary

Senior Helpers of Coastal Orange County is seeking a kind and dependable caregiver to assist seniors with their daily routines and help them stay safely and with dignity in their own homes. Service Area: Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel and nearby areas.

Compensation: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour. Flexible schedule - full-time, part-time, weekend shifts available. Bi-Weekly pay with mileage reimbursement and retirement benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Kind, compassionate caregiver attitude.
• Experience in caregiving (professional or personal).
• Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Test.
• Recent TB test.
• Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist seniors with daily routines to help them age safely at home.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.

Requirements

• A kind and gentle heart with a compassionate attitude
• Experienced in caregiving (professionally or personally), or simply eager to learn
• Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Test
• Home Care Aide (HCA) registration preferred (can be completed after hire)
• Recent negative TB test
• Valid driver’s license & reliable personal vehicle

A Day in the Life of a Caregiver

As a Senior Helpers caregiver, you’ll make a direct impact on seniors’ lives by helping them age safely and comfortably at home. Your day may include:

• Helping with daily needs like bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
• Offering friendly conversation and emotional support
• Assist with light housekeeping, errands, and medication reminders
• Providing companionship and engagement in hobbies or games
• Supporting independence while ensuring safety and dignity
• Transportation to medical appointments and local errands
