Nurse Next Door is hiring caregivers in California to support clients at home. Responsibilities include meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and personal care per client care plans.

You will help keep clients safe, follow care plans, and document activities. Prior caregiving is required; English communication must be strong; a CA Health Care Certification, TB screen, and background check are required.

Formación

• 1 year of caregiving experience is required.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both spoken and written.
• CA Health Care Certification (Registry #) required, with current TB screen and background check.

Responsabilidades

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship or personal care.
• Follow the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Ensure client safety and operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Service area: Beverly Glen to Camarillo & Simi Valley, Moorpark Los Angeles & Ventura Counties
• Looking for all visit times (700-1500, 1500-2300, 2300-700) weekdays and weekends

Requirements

• 1 year previous caregiving experience
• Must be able to community verbally and in writing in English, other languages are an asset
• Proof of CA Health Care Certification (Registry #)
• Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check
• Must be able to legally work in United States to apply for this position
• Valid driver’s license is required
