Job summary

Village Caregiving - Lexington is seeking reliable caregivers to cover a variety of shifts with flexible scheduling. We're the nation’s largest privately owned home care agency, offering paid training, CPR, and incentive bonuses.

Responsibilities include reminding clients to take medications, aiding mobility and daily personal care, light housekeeping, and accompanying clients shopping as needed. We value compassion, reliability, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required; paid training provided.
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete recommended exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping including preparing meals.
• Record days and hours on agency care sheets.
• Report any unusual incidents to office personnel and family members.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

The caregiver's role is a crucial position for those who rely on others for basic daily care.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication

Caregiver Requirements:

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required, we provide PAID training
• Willingness to adhere to health and safetystandards
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cookingwith attention to dietary constraints
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a goodbedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time managementand interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must pass drug test
• Able to pass background check
• Must have reliable transportation
