Job summary

Village Caregiving - Lexington is seeking reliable caregivers to cover a variety of shifts with flexible scheduling. We are the nation’s largest privately owned home care agency, offering competitive pay, paid training including CPR, and incentive bonuses.

The caregiver role is crucial for clients who rely on daily assistance. Responsibilities include medication reminders, mobility support, personal care, light housekeeping, and shopping assistance.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required; PAID training provided.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Must pass drug test
• Must pass background check
• Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete recommended exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including preparing meals.
• Report any unusual incidents to office personnel and family members.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Record days and hours on agency care sheets
