Above and Beyond Nursing Services is seeking a Caregiver/HHA/PCA to join our team. The Caregiver is responsible for providing physical care and emotional support to clients who may be unable to care for themselves due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability. The ideal candidate must demonstrate dignity, patience, compassion, and respect while caring for clients and their property. The role requires empathy and a supportive attitude at all times.

Responsibilities

1. Home assistance – Provide light housekeeping, run errands, or offer transportation as needed. Accompany clients to appointments and assist with medications. Prepare meals, purchase groceries, and assist with general living needs.
2. Personal services – Assist with toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming. Provide financial aid such as balancing checkbooks, going to the bank, or helping pay bills.
3. Personal care assistance – Help clients with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
4. Companionship – Offer companionship and conversation, encouraging and assisting clients to stay engaged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Must complete a Criminal Background report.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Active HHA/PCA/CNA Certification.
• CPR/BLS/First Aid Certification.
