Job summary

BrightStar Care in Baraboo, WI is seeking a compassionate CNA & Caregiver to provide in-home care and support to clients. You may assist with companionship, light housekeeping, personal care, meal prep, errands, or simply brighten a client’s day. Active CPR certification is preferred; we will help you get certified.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred; BrightStar Care can assist with certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Licensed driver with a reliable, insured vehicle.
• Willingness to travel up to 30 minutes for client care and training.
• Pre-hire steps may include reference checks, legal work verification, driving record check, TB test, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide hygiene care as directed (bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, feeding, linen changes, light housekeeping).
• Prepare and administer meals according to client diet.
• Take and record vital signs, height and weight when needed.
• Assist client in range of motion per care plan; report changes to Director of Nursing.
• Assist client with walking and transportation to appointments and activities.
• Promote a safe, compliant home environment by following policies and standards.
• Respect and uphold clients’ rights at all times.
