Job summary

BrightStar Care in Pardeeville, WI is seeking a Caregiver (home health aide) to brighten clients' outlook and provide day-to-day support in their own homes. The role involves personal care, hygiene assistance, and companionship.

Pay ranges from $18 to $20 per hour with additional shifts and weekend availability. CPR certification is preferred and BrightStar will help you get certified. Weekly pay and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed driver with reliable transportation.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Willingness to travel up to 30 minutes as needed for client care services.

Responsibilities

• Provide client with hygiene care as directed including, but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, feeding, linen changes and light housekeeping.
• Prepare and administer meals according to client’s diet.
• Take and record vital signs, height and weight if necessary.
• Assist client in active and passive range of motion per the care plan and report changes to the Director of Nursing.
• Assist client with walking and transportation to appointments, activities and shopping.
• Develop and promote a safe environment for quality client care by following policies and standards.
• Ensure client’s rights are adhered to.
