Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC is seeking caring caregivers for part-time and full-time roles at Avamere at Moses Lake in Moses Lake, WA. Compensation ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, depending on experience, with various shift options and weekend availability.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, meal prep, emotional support, companionship, housekeeping, health monitoring, and maintaining resident safety.

Formación

• Must have experience as a Caregiver in Memory Care or Assisted Living facility.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid Certification during employment.
• Must have ability to obtain a Food Handler's Card.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Provide mobility assistance and support with transfers and walking.
• Assist with meal preparation and tray removal.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Engage residents in conversations and activities to reduce isolation.
• Perform housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Monitor residents' health, report concerns to medical staff.

Caregiver Type: Part-Time and Full-time Available Shift: Various schedule/shifts, Weekend availability needed Wage: $18-$20/hr DOE Location: Avamere at Moses Lake - 8425 Aspi Blvd. NE, Moses Lake, WA 98837

The caregiver's duties encompass a wide range of tasks, including assisting with activities of daily living, emotional support, housekeeping, and ensuring the resident's safety and well-being.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Personal Hygiene: Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Mobility Assistance: Supporting residents with walking, transferring, and using mobility aids.
• Meal Preparation: Assisting with setting up meals, cutting up food if needed, and removing trays from rooms.
• Emotional Support and Companionship: Providing Emotional Support: Offering empathy, listening to residents, and providing encouragement.
• Companionship: Engaging in conversations, activities, and social interactions to combat loneliness and isolation.
• Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including laundry, cleaning, and tidying up.
• Health Monitoring and Medical Advocacy: Observing residents for changes in health, reporting concerns to medical professionals, and monitoring vital signs.
• Other: Answer resident calls for assistance timely. Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe work environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Maintain confidentiality of resident information. Maintain a safe work environment. Report safety concerns in the resident apartments to the supervisor. Assists with the orientation of new residents and staff when assigned. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Prefer experience as a Caregiver in a Memory Care Unit and or Assisted Living Facility.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain active CPR/First Aid Certification during employment.
• Must have the ability to obtain a Food Handler's Card.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.
• Must be 18 years or older.
