Job summary

Arbor Village, part of Cascade Living Group, is seeking a Caregiver/HCA/CNA to build meaningful relationships with residents, know their personalities and preferences, and assist seniors with life skills and personal care plans. You’ll help determine level-of-care adjustments as needed.

This position offers day, swing, and night shifts, with weekend availability required, and opportunities for growth within the Cascade Living community.

Qualifications

• Current WA State HCA or CNA license preferred.
• Food Workers Card.
• Preferred 2 years experience in Memory Care.

Responsibilities

• Establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff.
• Assist residents in life skills and other life enriching activities as indicated on their individual profile.
• Implement residents’ personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences and preferred routines.
• Blend a variety of multi-sensory experiences into the resident’s day.
• Work with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter.
• Demonstrate organizational skills around time management.
• Promote the mission, values and beliefs of the company.

Job description

As a Caregiver/HCA/CNAwith Arbor Village we’re looking for you to build meaningful relationships with our residents by getting to know their personalities and preferences. On a daily basis you’ll be relied upon to assist seniors with life skills, maintain and develop personal care plans and recommend level-of-care adjustments.

Whatwelook for in a Caregiver/HCA/CNA:

• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Reliable transportation and dependable when it comes to showing up on time
• Positive attitude and the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents
• Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families
• Compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills

What you can expect to do as a Caregiver:
