A home care company is looking for compassionate caregivers to join their team in Gainesville, Florida. The role involves providing companionship and personal assistance to seniors in their homes. Key responsibilities include helping with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, bathing, and transportation. Candidates should have a CNA or HHA license, or relevant experience, and must be dependable and caring. This position offers flexible schedules and support in employee growth and development.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA license preferred or relevant experience in caregiving.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license if transporting clients.
• Must pass a criminal background check and current TB test.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients.
• Assist with light cooking and cleaning.
• Help clients with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with ambulation.
• Transport clients for appointments and errands.

We are looking for compassionate Caregivers to be part of our team and join us in our mission of enhancing seniors’ lives, one day at a time. You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.

Responsibilities

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but not limited to:

• Companionship
• Light cooking and cleaning
• Bathing, grooming and toileting
• Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders
• Transportation for appointments and errands

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
  • Dementia and/or Hospice
• Exceptional communication skills
• Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Proof of current TB testing
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
• Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)
