Job summary

HomeWell Care Services, Inc. is seeking compassionate Caregivers to support seniors in their own homes throughout Massachusetts.

In this role you will work one-on-one with clients, providing non-medical services and building trusted relationships to help them age in place with dignity. You will perform duties such as companionship, light meal prep and housekeeping, bathing and grooming assistance, and transportation to appointments, while maintaining safety and respectfully promoting

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA license preferred; or 6 months of full-time care experience with geriatric or chronically ill individuals
• Exceptional communication skills
• Reliable transportation; must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Proof of current TB testing
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
• Pass a criminal background check (national and state requirements)

You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but not limited to:

• Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders
• Transportation for appointments and errands

QUALIFICATIONS

• CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
• Exceptional communication skills
• Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Proof of current TB testing
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
• Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)
