Job summary

Griswold Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers for part-time or full-time positions in the Pittsburgh area. We offer immediate start dates and multiple shifts with flexibility from 4 to 12 hours.

You will provide personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and support for clients with dementia or cognitive challenges. We value reliability, patience, and a caring attitude and provide ongoing training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of caregiving experience (personal or professional).
• Pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing and dressing.
• Prepare healthy meals and assist with grocery shopping.
• Provide light housekeeping and laundry support.
• Offer companionship and engage seniors in activities.
• Support clients with dementia or cognitive impairments with patience and understanding.
• Document care and communicate regularly with office about client needs.
