Job summary

Monarch Communities at Brandywine Living in Upper Providence seeks a dedicated Caregiver for full-time evening shifts (3pm-11pm). You will assist residents with daily activities, including personal care, dining, and social engagement, in a compassionate, resident-centered setting.

The role requires a Direct Care Certificate or equivalent, and a High School Diploma/GED, with preference given to those with dementia experience.

Qualifications

• Direct Care Certificate required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly population; dementia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding as outlined in the care plan.
• Maintain safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of residents.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Ensure residents are clean, dressed, and fed during shifts.
• Document all services provided during your shift.
• Report changes in a resident's condition to your supervisor immediately.

Job Description

Position/Job Title: Caregiver (Full Time)
Location: Brandywine Living at Upper Providence

Employment Type: Full-Time (3pm-11pm)

Pay Range: $20.00- $21.00 per hour

Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.

Job Summary:
Assists residents in all aspects of their daily life as indicated in the resident’s care plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide resident care to residents that include bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in their care plan
• Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of all residents
• Escort residents to meals and activities
• Ensures all assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts
• Document all services provided to your assigned residents during your shift
• Report any change of condition in a resident immediately to your supervisor

Qualifications

• Direct Care Certificate
• High School Diploma/ GED
• Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly population, preferred dementia experience

Physical Abilities

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
• An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
