Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Care Provider to deliver personal care and daily assistance to residents in a premier senior living community. The role focuses on maintaining residents’ independence and quality of life, following the community’s mission and values.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining safety, and communicating changes to supervisors. The position offers the opportunity to grow within a supportive team and healthcare-focused

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and meet their needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication with staff, residents and families.
• Must pass a criminal background check and health screenings including TB tests.
• PPE and safety protocols may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per care plan.
• Includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, walking and continence.
• Respond promptly to resident needs while maintaining dignity, safety and confidentiality.
• Report observed or suspected changes in condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperative interactions with staff and other departments.

The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents independence and quality of life in accordance with the companys mission and values

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living ADL as specified in the residents service and care plan
• This includes eating bathing dressing toileting transferring walking and continence
• Respond to residents needs promptly while maintaining residents self respect dignity safety and confidentiality
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff residents and guests following established safety standards
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co workers and other departments

• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees supervisors physicians healthcare professionals residents and their families
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate participate in daily screening surveillance testing and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment PPE to prevent the spread of the COVID 19 or other communicable diseases per regulatory guidelines
