JOB DESCRIPTION - Caregiver

• IMMEDIATE NEED: Shifts 4 Hours - 12 Hours (8a-8p Availability), WEEKEND AVAILABILITY URGENTLY NEEDED!

Home Instead is an international leader in the senior care industry. We provide affordable non-medical solutions for individuals seeking help with everyday tasks that allow them to live independently wherever they call home. Clients receive one-on-one services performed by Care Professionals (caregivers) who are screened, trained, bonded, and insured.

Primary Responsibilities

• Personal Care (including hygiene assistance)
• Remain Awake to care for Client (overnights)
• Alzheimer's and Dementia Support
• Meal Preparation
• Medication Reminders
• Laundry
• Light Housekeeping
• Shopping and Errands
• Ambulation Assistance
• Respite Care

Job Requirements

• Reliability, excellent communication skills, and compassion are essential.
• Ability to commute to the South Bay or Marina del Rey areas.
• Previous experience preferred but not required.
• Complete all required training.
• Access to a vehicle you can drive while on assignment (valid CA Driver's License, current registration, and your name must be listed on current insurance).
• Register as a CA Home Care Aide (including criminal background clearance and TB test).
• Pass drug tests.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• A heart for caregiving, treating older adults with dignity and respect.
