Job summary

Ridgeview in San Diego, CA seeks a dedicated Caregiver to provide personal and non-personal care to residents in Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing settings.

The role emphasizes safety, dignity, and autonomy, with duties including dressing, grooming, feeding, bathing, positioning, transfers, linen changes, and assisting with daily activities; you will also participate in talent development and tuition assistance programs.

Qualifications

• At least one-year caregiving experience in an Assisted Living or health care center.
• Ability to work in a health care and CCRC environment.
• Knowledge and practice of safe lifting and back care techniques.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must have and maintain current First Aid card.
• Legally Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• The Caregiver assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Transfers, transports and escorts residents as needed.
• Changes bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
