Job summary

GlenBrook Health Center in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Resident Care Assistant / Caregiver for part-time day and evening shifts. AM 6:00am - 2:30pm on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday; PM 2:00pm - 10:30pm is also available.

You will provide personal and non-personal care, support activities of daily living, and help residents maintain independence. We offer a stable, beautiful work environment and 401k with employer match (including part time and per diem), talent development reviews, and growth

Qualifications

• At least one year caregiving experience, preferably in an Assisted Living or health care center.
• Ability to work in a health care and CCRC environment.
• Knowledge and practice of safe lifting and back care techniques
• Must have and maintain current First Aid card
• Legally Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Transfers, transports and escorts residents as needed.
• Changes bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

The Resident Care Assistant performs personal care and non-personal care assistance to residents with activities of daily living in a manner that enhances the resident’s sense of personal choice and autonomy.

• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Transfers, transports and escorts residents as needed.
• Changes bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly.

What You Will Bring
