Job summary

Actikare Responsive In Home Care in Seattle is seeking compassionate caregivers, CNAs, or HCAs with senior-care experience to join our award-winning team. Immediate hiring and weekday shifts available for licensed and insured drivers.

You will provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, mobility, and light housekeeping, while ensuring dignity and quality of life for clients at home. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Active CNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington, or current enrollment in training
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass background/fingerprint checks

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and supportive interaction
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility for appointments, walks, etc.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities including hygiene and dressing
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed
• Prepare clients for activities and appointments; report incidents to agency and family

Caregiver Compensation and Benefits

Caregiver / Home Care Aid (HCA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Prepare for clients
• Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Caregiver Requirements

• ActiveCNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington - or proof of completion or current enrollment in training program
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
• U.S. work authorization (Mandatory)
• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
