Job summary

Help at Home in Americus, GA is seeking a Direct Support Professional. We offer pay from $14.00 to $17.00 per hour, plus professional development and mileage reimbursement, with flexible day, evening, and weekend shifts to fit your life.

You will deliver safe, confidential care, provide prompts to support daily activities and independence, document progress, and work with the DDP and local office staff. No prior experience is required—training is provided; you must be at least 18; a valid

Qualifications

• No prior experience needed; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; literacy test available as alternative.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; reliable transportation and auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, confidential, and respectful care at all times.
• Provide verbal and/or physical prompts to support daily activities and promote independent living (meals, cleaning, transportation, social engagement).
• Accurately document progress toward individual goals and maintain timely, detailed logs during each shift.
• Collaborate with the Designated Developmental Professional (DDP) and local office staff to ensure quality care.
