Job summary

TheKey is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our in-home care team serving seniors in Oregon City and nearby communities. You’ll provide 1:1 care, assist with daily activities, transportation, and companionship to improve quality of life.

We offer competitive pay ($22-25/hour), a $250 sign-on bonus after 30 hours, flexible day and weekend shifts, mileage reimbursement, benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer match) and paid training.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience required
• Alzheimer's or Dementia experience
• Empathy, compassion and kindness a MUST
• Ability to use sound judgement and remain calm in a variety of situations
• Must be reliable, dependable and on time
• At least 18 years of age
• Basic computer skills
• Driver for clients (with vehicle, car insurance and registration)

Responsibilities

• Personal care: dressing, bathing, grooming and assisting with meals
• Light housekeeping: basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing
• Transportation: Driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shopping
• Companionship: games, puzzles or other activities that provide social and emotional support
