Job summary

Independent Home Health is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care in clients' homes throughout Coal Township and surrounding communities. You will build relationships with clients to help them stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

No professional caregiving experience? That’s okay—if you’re reliable, patient and enjoy helping others, we’d love to talk with you. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available based on cases.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have a valid driver's license
• Have reliable transportation
• Be able to complete required background checks
• Be dependable, caring and patient
• Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but not required
• Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Help with mobility and everyday activities
• Prepare meals
• Complete light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed
• Follow the individual’s care plan and document the services you provide
