Job summary

Independent Home Health is hiring dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes throughout Coal Township and surrounding communities.

You’ll have the opportunity to build a relationship with the person you’re supporting and help them remain safe, comfortable and independent at home. No professional caregiving experience? That’s okay—if you’re reliable, patient and enjoy helping others, we’d love to talk with you.

Qualifications

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be able to complete required background checks.
• Be dependable, caring and patient.
• Previous caregiving experience welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Help with mobility and everyday activities.
• Prepare meals.
• Complete light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed.
• Follow the individual's care plan.
• Document the services you provide.
