Rose of Sharon Senior Villa is seeking a Caregiver Expert to provide compassionate, dependable, and respectful care to residents in a 1st/2nd shift mix and full-time roles. The position emphasizes C.A.R.E. values and ensures a safe, welcoming home environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, documenting rounds, and reporting concerns. Training, timekeeping, and team communication are essential components of the role.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Able to safely provide resident-care duties.
• Complete required background screening and employment requirements.
• Maintain required training/certifications.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Comfortable using basic digital systems for timekeeping and documentation.
• Demonstrate dependability, professionalism, teamwork, and good judgment.
• Able to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility) within scope of training.
• Treat residents with dignity, patience, respect, and compassion.
• Complete hourly resident rounds and document them accurately.
• Notice changes in condition and report concerns promptly.
• Help with meals, hydration, activities, and daily needs.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and common areas.
• Complete shift duties, cleaning, and tasks before leaving.
