Job summary

Circle of Care is hiring a Caregiver Educator to train professionals and families on kinship topics in Tulsa and surrounding counties. The role supports educational outcomes by connecting kinship resources and promoting awareness among providers.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in social work or related field, 1+ years kinship experience, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Social Work or related social services field.
• 1+ years of experience in kinship care and kinship families.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Valid Oklahoma driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to pass background check, pre-employment drug screening, and physical.
• Minimum age 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Train professionals, paraprofessionals and/or families on kinship-related content per curriculum.
• Facilitate training independently and/or with co-facilitators in individual and group settings.
• Administers all tests, evaluations, surveys, and program paperwork.
• Learn current kinship subject matter to keep information accurate and practical.

Starting Pay: $40,000.00 and up + Full Benefits | Full-Time | Faith-Based Nonprofit

This position works with kinship caregivers, groups, organizations, and institutions to identify, connect to, and effectively utilize community resources, while increasing awareness of kinship needs among community providers to develop resources for the betterment of kinship care. Your Impact: What You’ll Do

• Train professionals, paraprofessionals and/or families on specific subject matter related to kinship in accordance with program curriculum and procedures.
• Facilitate training independently and/or with co-facilitators in individual and group settings.
• Administers all tests, evaluations, surveys, and other program paperwork.
• Learn all current specific subject matter to ensure information presented is accurate, practical, useful, and relevant to participants.
• Find all applicable resources to meet kinship needs
