Job summary

Circle of Care in Tulsa, OK is seeking a passionate Caregiver Educator to prepare and conduct individual and group trainings for kinship caregivers, families, and professionals, supporting the program's educational outcomes.

The role requires strong communication, group facilitation, and a commitment to Christ-centered service within a faith-based nonprofit. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, plus kinship care experience and the ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Social Work or related social services field
  • 1+ years of experience in kinship care and kinship families
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to pass background check, pre-employment drug screening, and physical
  • Minimum age 21 years old

Responsibilities

  • Train professionals, paraprofessionals and/or families on kinship-related subject matter following program curriculum
  • Facilitate training independently and/or with co-facilitators in individual and group settings
  • Administer tests, evaluations, surveys, and program paperwork
  • Learn current subject matter to ensure accurate, practical information for participants
  • Find applicable resources to meet kinship needs
