Touching Hearts at Home in Westminster, CO is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide personal care, companionship, and mobility support to clients at home. You will perform daily routines, assist with transfers, meal prep, and medication reminders, while maintaining safety and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, hygiene, cognitive support, and wellness.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, hydration, nutrition support.
• Assist transfers with gait belts, walkers, wheelchairs, and Hoyer lifts.
• Transport clients to appointments and social outings.
• Monitor medications reminders and safety.
• Encourage daily movement and mobility.
• Offer companionship and relationships with clients.
• Communicate changes in client well-being to supervisors and families.

CAREGIVER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Comprehensive Daily Care: Personal care, hygiene, cognitive support, and overall wellness.
• Homemaking Support: Light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, hydration, and nutrition support.
• Transfer Assistance: Training provided for gait belts, walkers, wheelchairs, and Hoyer lifts.
• Reliable Transportation: Driving clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Medication Reminders: Helping clients manage their medication schedules safely.
• Exercise & Mobility Support: Daily movement assistance and physical activity encouragement.
• Companionship: Building trusted relationships through conversation and presence.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Communicating changes in client well-being to appropriate supervisor, families, and care teams.

CAREGIVER REQUIREMENTS:

• Have a reliable vehicle.
• Possess a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Pass a background, motor vehicle, CAPS and reference check.
• Must receive flu shot annually.

CAREGIVER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Caregiving experience preferred, however no experience is needed as we provide all necessary training.
• Compassionate, dependable, and ready to learn.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve during difficult situations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 20 - 40 per week
