Job summary

Avid Health at Home Illinois LLC is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in Naperville, IL. You will assist with medication, mobility, personal care, and daily activities in clients' homes.

This role offers flexible shifts (full-time or part-time), competitive hourly wages, and opportunities for growth and ongoing support from experienced caregivers and leaders.

Qualifications

• Proven caregiving experience, ideally 1 year.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• In-person work location in Naperville, IL is expected.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with mobility and doctor appointments.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Run errands or accompany clients shopping.
• Light housekeeping duties.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
