Job summary

The Springs at Clackamas Woods

is looking for compassionate, dependable Caregivers to join our Memory Care team. In this role, you’ll get to know our residents as individuals, support them through their daily routines, and help create a warm, familiar environment where they can feel comfortable and connected.

Memory Care caregiving is about more than completing a task list. It’s about patience, consistency, encouragement, and taking the time to understand what helps each resident feel safe and supported.

Responsibilities Include

• Provide personalized care and support based on each resident’s service plan, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily routines.
• Build trusting relationships with residents through warmth, patience, encouragement, and genuine companionship.
• Support residents with dementia in a way that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Learn each resident’s preferences, routines, and successful approaches to care.
• Communicate changes in resident needs and preferences to the appropriate supervisor.
• Respond to resident requests, pages, and call lights.
• Work as part of a team to create a positive, welcoming environment for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous caregiving or Memory Care experience preferred. Transferable experience and a caring, patient approach are also valued.
• A caring, dependable, and patient approach to working with older adults.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen.

Schedule

• Set schedules with consistent days off. No rotating schedule.
• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
