Job summary

The Springs Living, LLC is seeking compassionate Caregivers for our Memory Care team at The Springs at Clackamas Woods in Portland, Oregon. You will know our residents personally and help them through daily routines in a warm, familiar environment that fosters safety and connection.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily activities, building genuine relationships, and supporting residents with dementia while maintaining dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or Memory Care experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care and support based on each resident’s service plan, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily routines.
• Build trusting relationships with residents through warmth, patience, encouragement, and genuine companionship.
• Support residents with dementia in a way that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Learn each resident’s preferences, routines, and successful approaches to care.
• Communicate changes in resident needs and preferences to the appropriate supervisor.
• Respond to resident requests, pages, and call lights.
• Work as part of a team to create a positive, welcoming environment for residents and their families.
