Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Mount Pleasant, SC is hiring CAREgivers to provide in-home support for seniors. If you value compassion, dignity, and independence, you’ll help with daily tasks, safety, and joyful companionship for clients at home.

We offer meaningful work with competitive pay up to $20/hour, plus benefits, flexible schedules including part-time and full-time roles, and ongoing on-the-job support from our care coordinators to help you succeed in every visit.

Qualifications

• 6 months caregiving experience preferred (family experience counts).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Physical strength to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Help with daily grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs
• Assist with movement and transfers (including hoyer lifts and gait belts)
• Create a safe, clean home environment with light housekeeping, laundry, and cooking
• Provide companionship, medication reminders, and specialized care for dementia clients
• Run errands, provide transportation, and more

Your Role as a CAREgiver:

• Personal Support: Help with daily grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs

What We Need from You as a Caregiver:

• Heart for Caring: Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude
• Experience: 6 months of caregiving experience preferred (family experience counts!)
• Reliability: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Physical Strength: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform necessary movements
