Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is hiring caregivers to support clients in Longview and surrounding areas within Cowlitz County, WA. Compensation ranges from $21.50 to $26.50 per hour, with flexible scheduling to match your availability.

No experience? We provide hands-on training and ongoing support. You’ll be matched with clients based on your preferences, with travel time and mileage reimbursed.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Must own a smartphone with the capability to use a mobile app.
• Ability to pass state and national background checks.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance and clean driving record.
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Provide companionship and engaging activities according to client needs.
• Assist with household tasks, cooking, and transportation to appointments.
• Monitor client condition and report changes to the care team.

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• Washington only – If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be able to complete the training while working and will have 120 days to complete it.
