Position Overview

Job Summary

The Resident Care Associate (RCA) provides general non-certified routine services following established procedures under supervision.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist with housekeeping and laundry, including trash removal and changing unoccupied beds.
• Support meal services, including transporting residents, tray delivery, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and check on residents who cannot call for help.
• Assist with 1:1 observations as assigned.
• Communicate with Nurse Supervisors/Charge Nurses regarding resident condition changes, concerns, or grievances.
• Provide excellent customer service, companionship, and engagement in activities.
• Help clinical staff make residents comfortable, such as checking sitting positions and hydration.
• Assist with personal care responsibilities per regulatory guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
