Job summary

Nurse Next Door in Thornton, Colorado, is seeking caregivers to provide in-home care for clients. Responsibilities include meal preparation and following care plans. We offer a supportive work environment with flexible part-time and full-time schedules.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Service the Denver metro area
• Looking for all visit times (700‑1500, 1500‑2300, 2300‑700) weekdays and weekends

Requirements:

• 1 year previous caregiving experience
• Must be able to community verbally and in writing in English, other languages are an asset
• Proof of Colorado Health Care Certification
• Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check
• Must be able to legally work in the US to apply for this position
• Valid driver’s license is required
