Job summary

Caring Senior Service is hiring experienced caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and PCAs to provide non-medical, in-home care for seniors in Amarillo and surrounding communities. Flexible scheduling with day, evening, overnight, weekend, and PRN shifts is available.

We value compassionate, dependable individuals with at least one year of caregiving experience and reliable transportation. CNA/HHA/PCA certification is preferred but not required; background checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.

• Support with errands, transportation, and appointments.

Caring Senior Service is currently hiring experienced Caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide personalized, non-medical care to seniors throughout Amarillo and nearby communities.

We’re looking for compassionate, dependable individuals with at least one year of caregiving experience. A variety of scheduling options are available, including day, evening, overnight, weekend, and PRN shifts.

As an in-home caregiver, you’ll provide one-on-one support that helps seniors continue living safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. You’ll also have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with the clients and families you support.

What You’ll Do

As a Caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and PCAs may assist with:

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Assisting with walking, mobility, positioning, and transfers
• Providing toileting and incontinence care
• Preparing meals and assisting with eating
• Providing medication reminders
• Completing light housekeeping and laundry
• Assisting with errands, transportation, and appointments
• Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition
• Helping maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
• Respecting and protecting each client’s privacy, dignity, and independence
• Communicating professionally with clients, families, and office staff
• Documenting completed care and promptly reporting concerns

What We’re Looking For

• At least one year of caregiving experience
• Reliable transportation is required
• CNA, HHA, or PCA certification is preferred but not required
• Experience with personal care and activities of daily living is preferred
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional approach to care
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance may be required
• Ability to successfully complete a background check

Previous experience in home care, senior care, assisted living, memory care, dementia care, hospice care, nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, or private-duty caregiving is especially valuable.
