Job summary

Caring Senior Service in Amarillo, Texas is hiring experienced caregivers (CNAs, HHAs, PCAs) to provide personalized, non-medical in-home care to seniors in the area. Flexible shifts are available, with day, evening, overnight, weekend and PRN options.

A minimum of one year of caregiving experience is preferred, and reliable transportation is required to serve clients in Amarillo and nearby communities. Join a team dedicated to helping seniors stay independent at home, with ongoing training,

Qualifications

• At least one year of caregiving experience is required.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• CNA, HHA, or PCA certification preferred but not required.
• Background check must be successfully completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Provide toileting and incontinence care.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with errands, transportation, and appointments.
• Observe changes in a client’s condition and report them.
