Senior Helpers West Jacksonville is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors in the Middleburg area in the comfort of clients' homes. The role emphasizes daily living assistance and meaningful companionship, with emphasis on safety, respect, and client dignity.

Qualifications

• Minimum Of 6 Months Caregiving Experience Preferred.
• CNA or HHA certification welcomed.
• Current in-person CPR certification required.
• Passion for helping others and serving the community.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable around dogs and farm animals
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a Level II background screening.

Responsibilities

• Providing a helping hand.
• Have fun and engaging conversations with clients to build meaningful relationships.
• Participate in clients' favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.).
• Prepare meals for clients to enjoy.
• Assist with walking, dressing, bathing, and other activities of daily living.
• Document completed activities and report updates on clients' physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.
