Job summary

Allegro Winter Park is seeking compassionate Caregivers (Resident Assistants) for full-time and part-time roles in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Winter Park, FL. Flexible day and evening shifts are available, with every other weekend scheduling to fit your life.

You will provide hands-on care, assist with daily activities, and build supportive relationships with residents and families. CNA/HHA certification is preferred, and prior senior living and dementia-related experience

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to Assisted Living and Memory Care residents
• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility
• Build genuine relationships with residents and families beyond routine care
• Monitor resident well-being and communicate changes to the care team
• Support Memory Care residents with dementia-informed care
• Maintain a safe, clean, welcoming environment on every shift

Allegro Winter Park is seeking compassionate, experienced Caregivers (Resident Assistants) for full-time and part-time rotating shifts across our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. With flexibility across both day and evening shifts - and every other weekend scheduling - we can find a schedule that works for your life.

Shifts Available

• 1st Shift | 7:00am-3:00pm
• 2nd Shift | 3:00pm-11:00pm
• Rotating schedule | Every other weekend required

Full-Time: 35+ hours per week

Part-Time: Scheduled 8-34 hours per week

What You’ll Do:

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to Assisted Living and Memory Care residents
• Assist residents with daily living activities - bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and more
• Build genuine relationships with residents and families that go beyond routine care
• Monitor resident well-being and communicate changes to the care team promptly
• Support Memory Care residents with patience, empathy, and dementia-informed care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment throughout every shift

Full-Time & Part-Time | 1st & 2nd Shift | Every Other Weekend | CNA/HHA Preferred

The primary responsibility of the Resident Assistant is to provide resident care services, as scheduled, under the supervision of the Resident Services Director (RSD) in Assisted Living areas, maintaining a positive physical and social environment.

Areas of Responsibility

• Approach all encounters with residents and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, medicinal reminders, and incontinence care.
• Keep proper records of care including a resident service plan and documenting services provided.
• Be familiar with resident service plan and document all service provided.
• Work closely and maintain daily communications with the Resident Services associates so that a continuity of care and services is maintained for the residents.
• Promote a safe environment for residents, associates, and visitors.
• Support the programming and operations of the neighborhood.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one (1) year related health care experience required.
• In any Community with an Ensemble Program, applicant must successfully complete required dementia training.
• Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
• The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in CPR and first aid preferred or as required by the state.
• May be a Licensed or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA) depending on the state requirements, if licensed or certified must be in good standing with the state licensing or certifying agency.
• Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus.
