Job summary

A senior care provider is looking for compassionate individuals to provide one-on-one non-medical services to seniors in their homes. Responsibilities include companionship, assistance with daily activities like cooking, cleaning, and personal care, and transportation for appointments. Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation and proof of valid driver's license and insurance.
• Physical ability to perform caregiving duties.
• Must pass national criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist clients with light cooking, cleaning, bathing, and grooming.
• Help with ambulation and medication reminders.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands.

Job description

You will work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but not limited to:

• Companionship
• Light cooking and cleaning
• Bathing, grooming and toileting
• Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders
• Transportation for appointments and errands

QUALIFICATIONS

• CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
• Exceptional communication skills
• Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
• Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)
